Medal of Honor: Warfighter, EA's follow-up to 2010's Medal of Honor reboot will again follow real world elite soldiers, the Tier 1 Operators with characters Preacher, Voodoo and Mother among those returning from the first game according to new magazine coverage.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be powered by DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine, although the Battlefield 3 developer won't be on hand to develop the multiplayer with Danger Close doing it in-house instead.
Exepct improved visual fidelity, an emphasis on 'authenticity' rather than 'simulation', locations including a flooded city in the Philippines, and more choice, such as choosing how to breach a building.
Multiplayer will see the Tier 1 Operators joined by the SAS as well as Australian, Polish and German special forces, while a co-op mode and one-shot-kill hardcore mode have also been hinted at.
Look out for loads more details from GDC next week, with EA expected to drop an official reveal at the San Francisco event.
