Gents,

Just received Daymos option file USB stick. Before I started, I deleted all PES 2012 data that was on the console, all but the full disk install. Next, followed the instructions and copied the main folder from the USB stick. Once done, started the game and it took awhile to load, maybe between 5-10 minutes as it went through what looked like 1-20 stages.

Now, I went to exhibition and everything looked amazing. However, I just feel like moving between menus in the game was much slower, I just assumed since it was heavier with the new OF loaded.

Is this normal? Wonder if I made a mistake and should start fresh if this is not the normal behavior.

Lots of edited data certainly slows the loading times on my xbox version of the game down. I've got npower championship along with some german teams so I imagine thats similar to what Daymos' OF contains. The most painful is when I exit edit mode, that takes some time. Also sometimes the formation screen lags on 2 player, though not as much as pes 11 did which was almost every time

Daymos is gonna address this in an update in the near future, but due to the work in making the detailed kits and releasing a file for release day, there's some kit files that can be deleted (Nearly 300). It took a while, but I made a note of all the kit files used for teams in the game and then deleted the unneeded files and the load times are much improved.

Excellent, thank you for sharing this information. I am glad to know this was not isolated to me making a mistake.

Going forward I will continue to follow Daymos and look for updates.
