mid range free kicks on ps2

i seem to always hit the crossbar or the wall

any tips

mid range is about 23-27m

At 23 to 25m press back and left or right 25 to 27 press triange when your player hits the ball u need player with good swerve ability an free kick acc .

Triangle makes it a harder shot so it has more power into it. On the other hand, you can press x for close freekicks for a soft glide.
