yeah. this game looks ace. the 2nd one was amazing i though. probly the best racing game ive every played. hihgly under rated too. so hopefully this one will be bigger and better. specially with customisable cars and stuff. itll make great competition for NFS:U 2.

I've managed not to play the Midnight Club series, despite several recommendations.

This looks brilliant, its time to try it out this time around I think ;)

Na, no way, Ive never really like Midnight Club, but this one looks okay, but need for speed is just class, Midnight club, will never beet Need For Speed....i think ill rent this game first, and if its good, i might think about buying it.

I think this look a lot better tahn NFSU. The thing about NFSU, was that it allowed you to tune your won cars. Great. but the racing in the game actually is not that good. I got over the hype of tuning cars very quickly and I don't think it was worth getting. I ahve played a couple of races in previous Midnight Club's and I think this game will be really hectic, I can't wait, it will *hopefully* beat NFSU

I personally can't see this being better than NFS:U 2, I've played Midnight Club in the past and found it to be disappointing. The actual racing in NFS is fine in my opinion

the racing in NFS is not good at all. you dont even need to use brake to turn round coners. the wheather doesnt have a big enough effect on the handling. just pplay gt3 for 5 minutes and then go back to NFS

Does anyone own or has played this game that could give some feedback on it?

I've never played the Midnight Club series.

I guess I'm going to have to try this out sometime, whatever the consensus.

Yeah, I have the game actually.
Just got it on the weekend.

Comments:

To be honest the graphics are average but the reflections are fantastic. The gameplay is great, twice as good as Need for Speed 2's gameplay. The modifying in the game is good, some very nice bumpers which are actually realistic unlike Need for Speed 2's.
An amazing variety of cars on the game.

I currently have a:

1964 Chevrolet Impala - really pimped out now.
Lexus IS300 - very smart and elegant.

But there are also some very nice touches and features within the game itself. You can personalise License Plates etc..


I will post more when I get back..

the games much better than need for speed it has a more arcade feel to it which i like and has good gameplay the sort that makes you want to win the races were as on NFSU if i didnt win a race id get frustrated,ive just got up to the bit were you can go to the other citys but the garages stock the same parts which is kinda crap. very good game love it 8/10 but im playing doom 3 at the mo so aint had much chance to play it

if you like arcade type racing then yeah its more enjoyable than NFS too you could allways get rid of NFS by trading it in or something but i was never a fan of NFSU so i couldnt tell you which is better really

NFSU2 became very boring, repetitive and generally poor after a short space of time for me. Sure, modding your car is great - but the game has no lasting appeal.

Sold it a few months ago.

So, I'll be trying this out.
