Just wondering does anyone play ML on 5 stars...cuz i seem to have a problem with scoring iam in my second season and currently in the playoff in 2nd div. the problem is that most of my games ends in a draw but i sometimes win games and i rarely lose any..

Just wondering if its just me or does everyone pretty much get draws too?
cuz these draws are making the whole game very boring as u play and no one score feels like u wasted 20 mins of ur time doing nuthing..

Try not too emphasize players and pass the ball about,you have to seize every oppurtunity

If and when you get promoted you'll earn more money and hopefully buy better players who will make it easier to score, thats how it went for me anyway

pass the ball, best advice you can get as the more you pass it about the more the oppositions players will move out of there ordinary position leaving gaps at the back

Then I'll try calming myself down, passing around as often as possible.

I'm able to against my mate, he is the impatient one.

Check the possesion % afterwards, I always have 65-70

5* does demand more concentration, that counts over longer game times. (You mentioned 20mins).

It should reward possession. If you're possession is good, how many chances/shots are you creating - and what proportion are converted into goals? If it's quite low you may need to look at shooting technique, if not it may be that your just not creating enough.

Try to pull defenders out of position, until you have two against you and then try to pass it on to a team-mate who's in space, unmarked.

Don't go all-out attack in the first half, try to take the sting out of the opposition, making them waste their energy chasing your passes, I suspect the longer you hold the ball the more likely they are to jump in and get booked.

You have to be able to have a good go at scoring from free-kicks and corners.

And never let your defenders, or defensive midfielders get caught in possession.

Anyway drawing the com players out to slide you and earn a booking, only mates do that.

And when I'm thru on goal they slide to get sent off.

Sort of giving me chances and confidence to boost my scoring chances from free kicks in big games...

I play only in 5* and you are right! too many draws. I manage to finish a season 1-13-0. try to pass the ball a lot. and se counter attacks. what formation do you use?

If you see the formation it covers the whole field.

Sort of like:

Anyway you stayed unbeaten all season, which is a great achievement

yes that was great. unbeaten. so what? I finished 4th with 17 points and I was the only unbeaten team in all 4 divs. anyway I use a 4-3-3b formation with a few changes. you might think it's not that good but for me is the best formation (really good in counter attacks)

I just finished my 10th season on level 5 and I won every single game in the league.

Playing 5* improves your defending loads because you have to defend well or you lose. It comes in handy for 2player games too.

Sometimes the com just frustrates me....arggghhhh.....

I checked the history and I found that
1 win was a 2-0
4 draws were 0-0
4 draws were 2-2
1 draw was 3-3
4 draws were 1-1

on my current season so far I have a 2 wins 3 draws 0 losses record.
hope to do better than last season.
P.S the only transfer I made is maniero (fw from brescia)

i started off on 3* then when i won everything i restarted and moved up a *. Now im on 5* and im running out of things to do. I have won everything and made:
an all star team of classics
an all star team of current players
all star team with both
and a club team. man u
i want to restart and am jus wondering what to do. Is it worth creating a team of just growth players. Any sugestions please. All settings are already on hardest eg cheat prevention, hardest transfer settings. thanx

Last season I won 23 drew 1 and lost 2, plenty of high scoring games 3-1, 4-0 etc. 5* is the only way to play PES3 as you really have to focus for 90mins and play realistic footy. I have managed to built a pretty mean side and I play a 3-5-2 attacking formation
