Anyone can help .

My LCD monitor only support 1024*768 . I can only set it to 640*800 to play in high details.The game will not run smoothly in other resolutions in high details.It's smooth playing in 1024*768 in med detail.what is the real caused?

My display card is NV GF7300GT.
If I get a new monitor that support 1440*900 or other higher resolutions wide screen.Will the problem exists again when setting to high details.
