More kits than the big 4

Dont know if this idea has been covered yet but.

Would it be possible to transfer the brand/sponsor/logo from a picture of the shirt, to a canvas with a transparent background.

This way you could use the 1 picture for home/away/gk home/gk away.

thus allowing you to edit 8 teams rather than 4 and also do the keepers

Cutting out the pieces would prob be a pain but i cant see why it wouldnt be possible.

In total thats 10 teams with sponsors, 50% of the prem xD.

I actually tried this briefly!!

And yes it would work, but it would not be 100% acurate...

For Example Lets Take Liverpool The Carlsberg Is in White On The Red Kit, If we were to use this on the white away kit we would not see the the text

Actually that is a good question...I would indeed say yes it is possible but you wont be able to change the colour of the sponsor's.
I downloaded an optionfile recently, and the kits used on their that uses a total of 8 spots are PNG files, and PNG files do allow to have transparent backgrounds.
I should try this out, however though it was mccroix's optionfile 1.1 that I downloaded but I don't like the kits and the logo's because the kits are wrong and the logo's look like they have been stretched.
So I apologise in advance if mine appears to be the same because of this option file I'm using.

Well I tried it, and despite that my AIG, Nike logo & MUFC Badge are on a transparent background it still comes up with the logo on the option file (the one I downloaded) so I'll assume then that there's another copy of the logo file inside a folder that would require some sort of plugin in order to open it.

Sorry to disapoint you, but you can't. I tried to delete Arsenals away kit(I have nothing against Arsenal) and put some other kit, but it doesn't work. If you delete the image, than kit turns to default. Sorry for my bad English.

nice mate did you do it your self or dl an option file?

Yeah I made them myself...for the Man Utd shirt I made a background and coloured it all entirely in a shade of red, then I added the logo's and badge...saved it as a jpg file and then I put it onto my PSP.
Then I opend up the picture on my PSP and took a picture of the picture with my Eye Toy camera (note: make sure you cover the blue & red lights with either black tape or with your fingers to take away the lights reflections from the PSP).

no dice

Afraid not my friend, you can edit the png file all you want but its just a thumbnail view and although will display in the menu it wont in the game, the bin file is the one that needs changed, and after a frustrating hour last week ive decided that making bin files is beyond my reach,
bring on the ps3 patch
the best console ever made deserves better games

Ya I noticed that not too long ago...maybe some genius out there will make a program that will allow us access to the full shirt picture
