i think in the next pro they shud give you the option after each player has selected a team whether you want to play them or not. i mean if your online and played someone i.e barceona one or twice already in that particular session, you can choose to proceed with the match or not, especially in ranking matches. maybe then when people keep gettin turned down for matches they will learn to use someone else.

choosing your opponent won't exactly be cheating as the player will be in the same league as you determined by accumilated points, so they will be around the same level. and this option will only come into force once you've played a team a certain amount of times already in one session. just a thougt, maybe then we will stop complaining.

what do you think?

or they can jus make teams more even in the nxt pro, and not have superhumans

I think if you have played someone more than once it is probably because they are a fair player so the team that they are using really wouldn't matter.

Would this rule count in reverse, I play 95% of my games with Liverpool, I have done since online play became available so after a couple of games would I have to swap teams? I appreciate that Liverpool might not be a good example as the current team is better than in PES5 but you know what I mean!

I do think that the points you receive should be determined on the team you choose though.

if each team was ranked 1 to 100 for eg. then the points you would receive is the difference between the teams to a maximum of 40 and a minimum of 3 also 1 pt per goal and 5 pts for a clean sheet

team a uses a 60 rank team
team b uses a 99 rank team

if team a wins 2 - 0 then 46 points received
if team b wins 2 - 0 then 10 points received

This way it would reward those that dont always use the best teams.

I agree with almost all the points in here, I believe that players who opt for the less skilled teams should be rewarded greater for their efforts. However, first and foremost, Konami need to make PES 2009 completely lag-free and fluid online before any other changes can be implemented. PES6 was a perfect example of how to run a football game online, I rarely encountered any lag problems in the 2 years I have played the game online. The major points that need to be included online for PES 2009 are (in no particular order):

1. 2v2, and not just players from the same console, but being able to play in the same team as your friend who is using a different console.

2. Coinciding with the point above, create seperate Ranked tables for Single player online and 2-player online (2v2). This new 2v2 table would then show how well you can work within a team during online play.

3. Being able to talk using the headsets with your opponents/teammates. Konami must have been on cocaine when deciding to remove this feature from PES6, in fact, it's not even a feature, it's so bog-standard it can't be classed as a "feature".

4. Broadening/Narrowing search criteria, therefore when I'm searching for a match, instead of just the usual 10 or 15 minute match searches you will be able to tick boxes alongside teams you wish to not play against (Inter Milan etc.) However this would also void you from using the particular teams you have chosen to tick.

I would like to have the Option of playing with a Created Team with Created Players (Classic Players in this case). Was it possible in PES6??

Anyways, that's one of things that annoys me the most about the Online Mode of PES08. I'd like to have the option of playing with ANY TEAM.
