Do you think that pes should create an engine specialised for each console?(ps3, xbox360, pc)
I think this would be a great idea because then they can get the most out of each console or pc and also it would completely remove loading times as it can maximize the cpu power of the ps3 or 360 or pc

I had gotten this idea from CRYSIS 2 as that is a multiformat game, also the game is specialised for the 360, ps3 or pc, If you look at the videos of the game the 360 has better lighting and frame rates than ps3 but the ps3 has better textures and shading than the xbox 360

and I dont want any fanboyism on this thread.

I hope you realize that making an engine in general takes months, but then you want to make separate engines too?! Mate that would take too long. They would have to take this year off completely. Look at the dev time for some of the bigger games of this gen.

Killzone 2: 5 years
Bioshock: 3 years
MGS4: 3 years

These things take time, which is something that a company who annually releases games, don't have.

They don't necessarily need a custom engine for each platform the game is released on, but they should tailor the content to each platform. For instance a PS3 Blu-Ray can hold 4 or 5 times more data than a 360 DVD, so there should be more content on the PS3 version. This has been my biggest beef with FIFA and why I've switched to PES. I'm a fan of MLS and USL/NASL here in the US. There is more than enough space on a PS3 disc to fit all of those teams, and their stadiums. If England can have 3 or 4 divisions in the game why not us? Instead they are lazy and we get basically a port of the 360 DVD based game. This is a massive problem with most multi-platform games IMO.

No licenses you nonce. It doesn't matter how much space the disk has. It's ridiculous that you bring that up. Almost every multi plat game is ported from the 360 to the PS3. To put separate content on the Blu-Ray would still take yonks because they would need content to put on the disk, which is something they don't have. I still don't know why you switched to PES. FIFA has the MLS fully licensed, and PES has nothing.
