well i had my first real experience of pes 2008 on the ps3 other day and all i can say is how sorry i am of you own it, i piss and moan ALOT about ps2 version but i still play it despite its faults but the ps3 versions faults are unforgiveable, in the space of 2 games there were 10 goals, 6 of which were goalkeeper errors (bad ones) and there was 5 missed open goals, not half chances, worse than steve stone for forest! i can safely say i wont even entertain the idea of getting it when i get my ps3, also online is an absolute disgrace

so i missed out a letter big fucking deal, im giving my views on an exceptionally wank game and i didnt realise it was as bad as people said, and thinking back to what was said in previous posts its being put lightly. if i would have gone and bought it i would have been so disgusted i would have sent the piece of shit back to konami, i really cant understand how people can still play such an awful game

yes, the grass on all the pitches look shocking, just a mess of green pixels, the slowdown is shocking too

yea the slowdown are a disgrace and lets not get into the online mode cause we can spend hours talking about how bad it is.....Konami really messed up with this game, I take it as a lack of respect to us "the consumers" who supported their game over the years, they never had the license and had much less teams than FIFA but we were always there,buying the game year after year

100% agreed, don't buy it, it's really not worth it. I read all the critics about it, but I still bought it - I was thinking that maybe people were a little to harsh on the latest PES edition.. but unfortunately that wasn't the case; they screwed up the Game Play, and they screwed up the Edit Mode - in other words, they screwed what made PES a great Football game in the first place.

And I almost forgot - The Online play is barely playable. So much for PS3 and Next Gen Games - Talk is cheap.

Yeah, most PES fans are just trying to hard to like the New PES - It is just a bad game, that's all there is to it; bad Game Play, PS2 Graphics, Bad Editing Mode, The worst Defending ever, unplayable Online Mode, The list keeps going...

And what makes it worst is that FIFA is just as bad - so we PS3 owners have nothing good to play.

why not? its the reason why they have produced this shite, nobody got on their case when it started going downhill since 4 so they thought they could throw out a shit game and pes fans would accept it. personally i would have had much more respect for them if they said we cant get it right the game will be delayed till 2008/9 and gave us a proper game. instead they make it, build it up, get people wanting it then after a week of its release they say "it will be back to the drawing board for pes2008" absolute disgrace
