My settings.exe file doesnt works

Please help me guys when ever i open the settings.exe file it gives following error
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click OK to terminate the application"

Although the game runs fine but i cant change the resolution so i have to play with only 1024*768.

can some body post the working settings.exe file if its the file that is damaged.

Re-install the game. If it still wont work, your windows is defective and requires repair and/or you have a hardware fault in your computer.
