I think we are all a little bit harsh on what has been said about PES2009 so far. Since the videos(have watched them hundred times) have been out I am playing pes2008 again just to compare
pes2009 with pes2008. And i must say SEABASS has indeed improved allot. So here is my visual impression of the game. To do that i am going to use this video

Now this, according to jeuxvideo, is gameplay from the XBOX360. the first thing I notice is the grass is just awesome. The players move and the animation
are also very good. Now keep in mind, i am comparing this to pes2008, but even if you don't compare it looks very good.
Now let's go and watch the video.
Immediately when the video starts, there is a awesome shot on target and the GOALKEEPER doesn't hesitate it runs to the corner where the ball is shot.
The GOALKEEPER touches it to a corner. Watch how the players in the wall turn around and and are in to the action, rather than staying there and having a cup of tea.
At 00:05 the linesman and the flag. looking very good. But also look at the defenders. Their positioning is good . the ball goes out of the box
and out of panic the ball is shot for a throw in.
There is a throw in. no chance for Italy to keep pressure Everyone is in position. Not good. They should get that one out.
At 00:28 a shot out of the box which is being blocked by a person who stretched his leg out. One of my favorite new features. It seems it's offside, no advantage has
been given. is this due to the fact, the ball was in a dangerous position or is it a bug that needs to be fixed. i hope it's the first one.
At 00:49 The GOALKEEPER somehow manages to play the ball to Del Piero. This is something positive. it means everything you do in the game can affect the
outcome. Unfortunately Del Piero doesn't take advantage, because of the GOALKEEPER, being very alert. Instead of just running towards the ball it moves
backwards slowly and waits for Del Piero to make his moves. He shoots, but the GOALKEEPER does excellent work. No more easy scoring out side the box.
Also watch, how the defenders run back to help out the situation. A good thing. This put's stress on the player, he has to make a quick decision.
At 01:04 a jostling moment. Cannavaro is brought out of balance,but manages to pass, but again an Argentinian player stretches out his leg. A perfect example
to use to conform that the ball is individual and not stuck to the foot. The Argentinian player doesn't get to the ball and that's why he loses the ball.
At 01:16 a pass into the box. The defenders comes in front of the Italian player and knocks the ball out of the box. The way it should be.
At 01:38 Now here comes my personal favorite. When i played against anyone or CPU i was so annoyed when somebody scored by using the wings. Because the players
just literally went trough players or put the best defenders in the world aside like it's 4 year old girl. Now you can clearly see the player comes infront of the
defender and makes a excellent header. it looks awesome, the animation look awesome and instantly the camera goes to the player. A feeling that you have scored
is presented like you are watching real football. this whole experience for me is a big plus. I am smiling now. I hope it will be improved when the game is finished.

At 01:34 You see hair moving
At 01:58 another favorite for me. A pass is given, that goes inside the box. It seems that the ball can hit more places on the head than before. You can clearly see that
Maxi Rodriquez is 2 cm short, but still manages to touch the ball with his head that the ball goes the other way. The animation that follow are also very good.
At 02:02 a pass is given what seems like a through ball. Does the new control system finally give the player to do what he really want? in stead of the nearest
player trying to get the ball, Del Piero that is further from the ball runs after the ball. with other words. The stupidity, or AI that was in 2008, is no more.
At 02:12 a ball is passed. What seems like a through ball. Toni doesn't hesitate and goes after the ball rather than just running the way he was heading.

At 02:19 a corner kick. Camoranessi tries do something, you can see the shot meter going full. Does this mean shots can go way over now rather than the pc deciding for you?
Does this mean not only does your positioning has to be good but also the power? i like that.
At 02:37 Toni tries a header, a flying one that is but he misses. looks like in real life.
At 03:13 Mascherano tries to run through the player. not possible anymore instead he falls to the ground.
Overall. Good things that I am seeing. Saying it hasn't changed compared to pes2008 is not a good argument. Allot has changed and this is seen in this video
The pace is good. The action is non stop. The game, even after so many minutes was still at 0(Argentina) - 1(Italy). Does this mean no more ridiculous goals
and 14-14 matches? i hope so.
This game, again to jeuxvideo was from the XBOX360. i just hope there is no difference in gameplay since I like the ps3 controller better.
I think i am pleased and hope i will be pleased even more when I can get my hands on the game.
