Nedved at DM

DM is a position Nedved can play and I was wondering if anyone had tried him there and if they have did he do a good job?

Yes, good going forward from that position (decent dribbling, v. good weak-foot accuracy, playmaking abitlity).

I tend to use Valeron there, he's slightly better defensively than Nedved, and direct his attack arrows forward, while I set another DMF (e.g. Keane) to Covering defence, and attack arrows going across the pitch.

Others prefer Ballack in the DMF positon. Any one one of them are well suited to being the 'attacking' DMF, the one who takes the ball into attack, looking to release the OMF, SMF's or CF's.

In real life, I don't think he is really a DMF at all. More a great CMF who can play SMF and OMF as well.

I say Makelele in DMF. he may not have amazign stats, but he is always there covering making great tackles, sometiems even last man tackles. Every so often he is on the edge of the box to hit a shot after a corner.

In a 2 DM formation, I find Nedved to be a very good DM, especially when used alongside a good defensive DM. Of the contemporary players, I think he's the best attacking DM. I don't play him there in a 1 DM formation though, his defence stat is too low.

Usually I use a 2 DM formation, Vieira as right DM with Falcao, Beckenbauer or Nedved as left DM. I can use Rijkaard as a DM, but I don't like to take him out of my defence, so I'm going to buy Davids (Holland's not Juve's) to cover any injuries to my other DMs.

i have played nedved at dmf, he was pretty good. i personally think that he is better playing in smf or omf. i play roy keane and gerrard in dmf and have davids and phil neville as cover for the dmf's and nedved.

I have also tried nedved as a dmf ( in juve not ML). he is good but I prefer him as an omf. you may find this strange but I use del pierro as a dmf. he is good and his long passes to the fw's are great. try him

I'm not sure if it's worth sacrificing Del boy's goals so he can pass. I often play del at omf with trez and di vaio up front with nedved at dmf. As long as he comes up he proves to be really creative

my favorite formation is 4-3-3. when I play juve I use del pierro and davids (I haven't rut him in barca yet) as dmf's nadved as omf and miccoli , trezequet and di vaio as fw's. It works fine for me

it might work, but it's all a matter of balancing out your options. I prefer having Del Boy up front because I absolutely despise Trez

Trezeguet is excellent as a lone striker.

I heard Juve have a 4-2-3-1 formation this season,
so I'm think the 3-1 should be:

Whenever I am Juventus I play Zambrotta at left-back. He’s really good going forward from that position. I play Appiah as the DM, he’s pretty useful there. Then there’s Miccoli who I play as the lone striker with Nedved just behind him.

Juve don’t have any left-footed players in there 1st team, do they?

i use 2 dm's: makelele & veron. with lampard just infront, & crespo or mutu up front on their own now.
but thats only when im playin really defensively

I move them into midfield. I sometimes play Camoranesi instead of Di Vaio though.

I suppose Iniesta, Camoranesi and Tacchinardi are begging to be replaced with those dire stats, I never like putting players in positions they aren't registered for though

i play with a diamond midfeild and and i find that Keane is much better then Nedved...

Ive played nedved on the right wing for my master league team and he playes good

yeah best position for Nedved is RMF

i play nedved on the left SMF with beckham or zambrotta on the right in my ML.

Giggs as LMF
Beckham as RMF
and recoba as OMF

there is just no room for nedved... so currently he is my benchwarmer... until injury time..
