Need help with shooting

Hi guys.
It seems like I need a crash course in shooting...
I skipped 08 and I'm used to the shooting accuracy of the 07.

Shooting accuracy seems to be random and using directional buttons makes it worse for me as they often go wide even when I'm shooting from the middle.

And sometimes when I don't press anything but just shoot, some players will automatically aim it beautifully in the top corner.

I just don't get how aiming works in this one.
Somebody teach me please.

i cant really say for sure how it works. But for me i typically try to push the direction arrows at the same time as when i charge the shot bar. So let say i wanna have a crack from the left side and aim for the top right corner, i'll hold the direction at a diagonal at the same time as when i hit the shoot. I'd recommend using Rooney if u wanna try practicing on it, he's pretty insane at these kinda shots.

well yeah rooney's got the stats...

i'm just getting so frustrated with my uselss psv strikers in master league missing so much.

So far I've concluded that how they receive the ballmatters a great deal in where the shot will go. Still it's so random that I'm just opting to rely on the keeper making a mistake rather than my striker placing the ball in the corner.
