You need to patch you DVD image with one of the patches available in the Downloads Section. Follow the patching instructions to the letter (they are also available on here, use Search Function!) and you'll be laughing.

If it's WE8, then you need to patch it using Fernando's latest patch which will change the menus from Japanese to English. It's incomplete yet but translates about 70% of the menus. Complete version should be out soon. Get the patches from the File Downloads section.
If it is WE7, there are many patches which translate the game to English as well as changing other parts of the game to update them like kits and stadia etc.
