I downoaded it and the video isn't working for me, unfortunately. A quarter of it functions properly, however, but then there's an untimely stop and all I get is the sound from then on (namely: commentary) which, I'm sorry to say, seems equally abysmal to that of PES2's. Who knows? Maybe my hearing was enhanced because there was no video, but I doubt it. :rolleyes:

Whoa that movie is noice! :cool: looks like the volleys are more a common thing which is good cos in pro evo they just got me so frustated, when they wouldnt volley when i wanted them to, um commentating seems kinda the same, some new comments i recon that will be all, not that I care bout the commentating,
Also the goalies look better the way the fumble etc, player speed and ball speed looks much more WE thank god, mabye they have it right this time, we can only hope, overall totally roks although i wouldnt of minded seein a goal or 2, see how the commentators react and the celebrations etc, I guess we will just have to wait for more movies.

Can anyone help, I've downloaded the video (I think!) and when I press play the clip plays but the screen is blank. The timer starts (Clips about 1:42 long right?) but I can't see anything.

en answer this I downloaded a video engvsger it shows england vs germany but there's a lock on it... sum1 knows the word

You can't tell, there are no close ups.

And you'll be using the wrong media player mate, try something else.

Anyways, the game looks cool, com. is still pish, but the animations and speed of the game look better, as does shooing, volleying and goalkeeper movements. Would like to see some more evidence though.

I guess those that can't see this video see 1 second of the start and then it goes black but you can hear the sound.

To view the new videos like this one, you need to go to http://www.divx.com/divx/ and download the free version (on the right) and then install it. Once this is done, you will have the latest codecs you need to play this video and can use Media Player or Winamp amongst others. Enjoy.

I think this video looks more "PES" than "WE" and it's strange since we've been told they should be the same. Or maybe it's just me? Anyone care to agree or disagree with me?

OK sorry about this but another question. I've installed DIvX5 an everything. But when I click on the video to download it defaults to windows media player. How do I view it from the DIVX5 player? I've technically already downloaded haven't I? So if i located the file on my computer from the playlist on media player should I be able to play it? That's if I can find it

the best way to download the game is right click and save as. The most effective way is that way.

It should work fine in Media Player once you've installed the new divx. Or are you having the same problems?

Thanks for the help guys, it does now work in Media Player. I didn't try it through Media Player after installing it which seems pretty stupid of me. I figured I'd have to play it through the DivX player. Back on topic -

Looks pretty good overall. I like the little touches like the controlling player name rather than "p1" above the player you're controlling, and the red circle with "r" in the top left corner of replays.

The ball definately has a better weight to it than PES2, shown best I think by the corner that 'zips' iin rather than floating like a balloon as it would in PES2.

Crowd looks better although they're still cardboard cutouts I see...

The menu looks even uglier than the current one.

The video doesn't show it but they better have replaced "loss time" with "injury time" or else. Stuff like that really annoys me. They must know it is wrong otherwise they have crappy translators. And "shoots." I think they even spell "European" wrong at some point, quoting it as "Europian"

I think it will still be Loss Time as that's what they call it in WE7. Shoots bugs me a lot too. Calling anything the "European Cup" would probably need them to spend on another licence so that could be a deliberate spelling mistake. cheap asses.....
