i have ordered pro evo 5 and action replay max and they should arive tomorrow when i will be hoping to transfer some option files across.

do i need software on my pc to get .max files onto my usb key?? or can i just drag and drop it in windows explorer?? ill have the relevent software on my ps2. i just dont want to install stuff if i dont need to.

i no youve probably answered this a million times but thanks inadvance

You get a software disc with the Max Drive but you don't need it as Windows XP automatically recognizes the USB key.

thanks. iv ordered action replay max. not the evo edition. im pretty sure i can use my memory key to transfer saves across though!!

Make sure you backup all your files before you try to transfer any downloaded files to your memory card. Quite a few people make mistakes and it ends in tears. The Max Drive help thread may help a bit.

I managed to get *.max (PS2 PES 5 Option Files) files from my max drive and place them safely on my PC. How do I uncompress these *.max files? Zip does not work!
What type of files (what extention) should I get in order to make changes to player names, kits, balls, etc? Is it an AFS file (*.afs)?
I want to create my country's league. If I ever manage it for PS2, can I convert it somehow to X-Box and PC option filew?
Can anyone help? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAASEEEEEE!!!
