new to PES BAL - Rating question ?

I am new to the game but have been playing now for a week.

My player ratings are all over the place and i cant see much logic to it.
I am pllaying an AMF and most of the time I am pullin down 5.5 and 6.0s.

occasionally a 7.0though statistically speaking the games are not much different.

Ex of my last game:

1 goal scored (1 shot 1 on target)
1 assist

12(8) passes

1Free Kick
1 intercept

RATING 6.0... is this normal???

Can someone please tell me how i am suppose to raise my rating ?

I agree with my ratings 90% of the time. Can get good ratings without scoring or assisting. Usually the motm is the most influential/threatening throughout the match. When I get similar stats to yours it's cuz either or all of the following:

-score/assist but then disappear throughout the rest of the game
-12 passes is pretty low which means you weren't influential for a midfielder
-importance of goals/assists. were they game winning? game tying? or just add ons to a 6-0 victory.

i agree but there just seems to be something completely off

i just finished yet another game with a disturbing rating

i scored the only goal in the match and yet finish with a 6.0 rating even though others finished 6.5 with nothin exceptionally better than I.

in a slow moving game which is dominated by the defense,
I cant see how the game winning goal doesnt deserve at least a 6.5...

I had a tough time against Man Utd while i'm a LMF playing for Teesside (Middlesbrough) but I assisted 2 of the goals in a 2-1 win and I got a rating of 8. I feel it could have been higher but i got tackled alot trying to get into a good crossing position
