New to the Max Drive

I'm buying a Max drive, with the hope of adding the updates to PES2008 once i own it. (I moved to the US and a major downfall is such a long wait for PES).
I have 2 main questions as i've never used a Max Drive before:
1: Will the option files mentioned on this website work on a US console ?
2:When someone brings out another option file with newer updates, do you add this to the current option file you have or do they have to replace the older file ? (e.g. if you have an option file with the championship teams in and you see a option file with the MLS teams included, can you add the MLS teams to the file with championship teams or is it crunch time to decide which you'd rather have ?

Yes, Compulsion, the PES Editor creator said already that as soon as he gets an american OF, he will make his editor compatible with it. This means, that any euro OF can be easily converted to american OF.

You have to replace your old file.
