New user, option file help

Hi can someone please help me? I'm new to pes and found the last pes amazing compared to fifa. I had no trouble downloading an option file on to pes11, however on 12 I've spent ages trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong and so far been unsuccessful.
I've only had the game 3 days and was told that the "goalgerd, chimps" option file was the best around. I downloaded it and copied the files on to my ps3 bit when I load it up it says "unable to load because data is from different version download new content to update data"
I've checked its the right bless code and tried it on 1.00 and 1.02.
If anyone can give me an idiots guide and explain what I'm doing wrong I'd appreciated it.

You need to install the latest konami file and the downloadable content file in the extra menu

What is the latest konami update? I thought V1.02 was the latest konami update?

There's a DLC (downloadable content) which includes all the transfers and stuff under Extra Menu. Then patches (1.02 the latest) bring changes in gameplay.
