Togo, Angola and Ghana have qualified for the World Cup, making the PES version of the tournament pretty incomplete.

How much is a DVD writer?

You can get an External DVD-ReWriter now for about £60-80. Internal ones cost around £40-60.

And anyway, it's a good thing that Angola, Toga, and Ghana have qualified for the World Cup. This is the only way that Konami will add these teams for the next PES game.

Does anyone remember the difference between PES1 and PES2? Teams such as Costa Rica and Ecuador were'nt included in PES1 but they were included in PES2. And the reason for them being in the game was that they qualified for the 2002 World Cup.

They had to be in PES2 so that you could play an unofficial version of the 2002 World Cup with all the teams that qualified in real life.

I'm sure that the same will happen with PES6 on the PS3. And as for PES5, someone will patch the game so that new teams are in the game.

I think you're talking about the Ivory Coast and yes, they're in WE9 along with Venezuela (who were also added).

No idea what happened to UAE. I think they were taken out by the time PES1 came out.

I'd rather have the african teams that are currently in PES5. I don't know much about the teams that have quality and I doubt that nokami would do their players justice in the stats department. But the teams in there already are fairly well represented. And they're more fun to play as/against.

Like was discussed in the other thread for club teams, it would be good for nokami to add the new teams without removing the existing ones.

I don't think Konami would remove teams such as Nigeria, Cameroon and Senegal just because they failed to qualify for the World Cup. That would be silly.

I think it's likely that they'll keep the existing African teams such as Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal but also add the new teams such as Angola, Toga and Ghana.

It would definitely make the "African Cup" (aka African Nations Cup) more interesting to play in PES6.

I mean, go to PES4 and check all of the teams and then do the same for the list that has been published for PES5. Notice how many teams were removed, to be replaced by other ones. Geddit?

They should definetly add the Ghana anyways. They have moast of their players int he game such as Essien, Muntari(Udinese), Addo(PSV), so it shouldnt pose a problem to add the team.

Firstly, I can't find a PES4 team list.

Secondly, I looked at the PES5 team list and I can honestly say that there are at least a couple of teams that weren't in PES4. I can remember that Ivory Coast and Venezuela definitely weren't in PES4.

I can't see any teams that have been taken out that were in PES4 but not in PES5. Teams such as Latvia, Hungary, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc are all still there.

come back after you've checked both games' teams lists properly.

Try using the search button for the pes4 list ;)

I did use the search button. Thats how I found the PES5 team list. I also typed in "PES4 team list" and it found two pages of irrelevant threads.

This is what I found with both searches:

http://forum.pesinsight.com/search.php?searchid=375538

http://forum.pesinsight.com/search.php?searchid=375542

By the way, I was originally talking about the National teams not the Club teams.

Ok, you've got that one.

But, I still don't think Konami are stupid enough to remove Cameroon, Nigeria and Senegal and directly replace them with Angola, Togo and Ghana.

You seem to be forgetting that the next game will be on a new console which will have the capacity to have loads more national teams.
