It is not illegal to buy something abroad and bring it back here, unless it is illegal over here (UK), i.e. Drugs etc. PSP is NOT illegal over here, just Sony dont want anyone importing them (i.e. Selling them over here) it is fine to buy ONE and bring it back.
I think customs are little more worried about Bombs and Drugs to be at all concerned about a PSP.

I fucking hate flying, but in the way that I'll do it. But I always think it's like a 50/50 chance that it'll get me there safely.
