Hi, ive just bought a PS3 and although I have heard all the bad reports I wanted to give PES08 a chance...im just thankful I lent the game from a friend and never actually paid money for it.

I had 08 on PS2 and online game for that was $hit but PS3 beats it for $hitness anyday of the week. I can see why so many people turned to FIFA now.

Just for the record, PES6 is what Konami bosses should be looking at to make 09 game an enjoyable experience again.

Pes 08 is not too good for ps3 or 360. Also the gameplay for 09 is looking like pes6 and even better.

No, ive been playing PES6 where the online game is still going strong.

Why so many people abondoned this game is beyond me, I bought 08 on release date and was back playing PES6 again within a week.

That trailer showed a small part of it. The animations looked much improved and it's not like pes 2008 but yeah I need to see a gameplay movie to fully decide.

Its awful, the online play is absolutley terrible.

The best players are also the best defenders, the best midfielders the best everything it drives me mad.

The online needs some sort of balancing system

I still play PES 6 for about 3 hours a week with a friend or my brother.
It never gets old. Too bad I don't have online on the PS2.

i made a big mistake buying it on he ps2.The game is so unfair to the ps2,i few days ago i put the PES08 Coaching guide booklet(even though im really good),and the dvd seemed to have almost everything to do with the ps3 and xbox 360 and pc.u can do much better moves like diving in those consoles except the ps2.Why is the konami so unfair to the PS2??
