the only thing people have talked about are the graphics in FIFA. Which don't look that good. They looked good when they were photoshopped. So why don't you admit that FIFA will be the same crap as last year.
I WAS at Leipzig and everyone asked David rutter. WHY HASN"T THE RESPONSE TIME BEEN FIXED. Rutter replied" we are still working on that" but reviewers won't mention that in their review, cause they are payed to do so.
so don't come bashing PES when FIFA suck on all fronts. Even the crowd is shit they stand together and they sit together. i rather have no crowd.

also a good product sells itself you must know that. KONAMI's WINNING ELEVEN FRANCHISE HAS NEVER BEEN ABOUT THE MARKETING.
that's why most PES and WE fans can say they stumbled uppon it by accident or played it at a friend and liked it.
but FIFA has always been about marketing because they have an inferior product.
you don't see alot of commercials for fuel do you because they know you will buy it because you need it.
what PES GIVES US AS FOOTBALL FANS FIFA HAS UPTILL NOW NEVER GIVEN US.
let me say that correctly REAL FOOTBALL FANS.
and that's why most of us already know we will buy PES/WE because it still is the best football game out there .
so FIFA has to market their game and when they do,who do they compare it to, to PES/WE because we are the benchmark if you want to convince someone ur football game is good u compare it to PES/WE AND NEVER FIFA.
so will that change in the future ? i don't think so and it hasn't yet.
FIFA CATCHING UP, FIFA PLAYS BETTER THAN PES ETC.....they have to do it like that because they want us, the PES/WE fans ,they already won you over but not all of us buy into the hype even if you decide to buy both my opinion is their marketing worked ,just like how they got me last year, because it's all about selling the game for FIFA.

I was at leipzig too and I asked that japanese dude who showed that presentation of pes 09, on what improvements they have made this year. He said he has imrpvoed gameplay and graphics! Then he played a demo of the game. He had the nerve to LIE in front of all of us, pes fans included!
btw I dont know what planet youre on but you need to visit your local opticians for a serious checkup. Make it a priorty because youre clearly blind if you cant see a massive improvement in gameplay in fifa 09. Or maybe youre just one of those with little taste. Yeh, I think its the latter.

but pes is pes........pes got edit mode....just fifa got one????
i mean when u need to make a own team....u can make by selecting player u want...
but the kits,the emblem for the team...is to ugly.....
i dont know about ps3 for fifa08, but for ps2 is very far awy from pes edit mode....
i just wana buy both of this game.....

Rubbish! Ive seen the trailer, and it's ok, nothing special. ps. why are you so excited abou tthe trailer. You along with your pes pals have been saying but its only a video regarding fifa 09...
Anyway, you clearly dont know about marketing. If fifa 09 was indeed rubbish, do you think they would release ACTUAL crystal clear gameplay videos of the game? and not just one, but 20+...Also I heard the pro evo demo is being delayed...hmmmm the perfect opporunity to showcase the game to their fans and compare it with fifa on the same day, and they chicken out. Fifa has nothing to worry about. I was at a mates house and tried pes 08 on his ps3. My god, it was bad, keepers just parry the ball across the goaline ALL THE TIME. Long range shots are PARRIED INTO THE GOAL. FREE KICKS given at the slightest touch. Player RUN LIKE LUIGI AND MARIO. Some people are just deluded if they thought pes 08 was a half decent football game.
The reason konami arent 'marketing' the game is because theyve got nothing to match fifa 09 this year. The underlyinh factor is sales. Marketing plays a massive role in sales. After the diasaster that was pro evo 08, youd think konami would try and win back the fans who switched to fifa. But no, theyve done fk all for the past few weeks just like theyve done fk all for the past year on the game.

tell me why there's a player standing on the goalline in that first goal who just stands and watches the ball go into the net? For the second goal, why is the player totally free with all the time in the world to do a bicycle kick? There's examples of keepers parrying the ball into the goal when kicked straight at them and wtach the goal at 1.10, wtf is that! the ball just passes through the entire defence and the keeper jumps out of the way! and at 1.27, what kind of rubbish goal is that?! the defenders just stand and admire the ball! and 2.06, where's the keeper lol and 2.16, the keeper yet again puches the ball into the goal. and wtf is that at 2.56? I have never ever seen that sort of animation in a real life football match.
Basically, Ive pointed out a number of flaws in pes 08. And you call that great gameplay???!!!
