Its a bit pathetic competitions only go till one o'clock in the morning. Before it used to be 3.

Also, what is this novice cup? I only came back to playing pes this year since 2011. I was a novice(still am if you ask me) and could never enter it. There should be an alternate cup for other players at this time. Its really annoying you have to wait not only another hour, but for just one more competition.

Overall, its quite lame online this year for competitions the way they are set up. What does anybody else think about this?

Novice cup is only available to players with rating below 300 (or 400? not sure).

I don't think this year's Competition is lame. Not like 2012 which they are available in every 2 hours, now you can enter Competition in one-hourly manner.

Basically when I wait up for a Competition to start, I played a ranking match or two just to warm up. I don't see anything lame about this year's competition except for some lame bastards here and there.

Example:
I played one high ranking guy and lead him 3-0 on 70th minute, and suddenly during kick off he scored own goals up to the point the match is suspended due to 'unfair conduct' or something. It resulted the match being considered void, I got no point out of it, he got away unscathed, and I wasted almost 10 minutes of my life.

There isn't enough competitions this year in MLO and they don't go until late enough. Last MLO tourney is like 11pm, wtf?

I don't see konami's problem. Why can't they put tournaments on longer, even if only for the weekend. But they definitely should have an alternate cup for the rest of us when the novice cup is on. I notice now and again they have different cups running at the same time, why can't they do the same for the novice cup? It's completely unnecessary and seems a bit lazy.

There should be a cup for everyone every hour, or atleast every other hour. The 5 minute games and variety of players make the cups fun.
