online PC - an error has occured

im playing PES 2009 in the PC version (original with NO-CD EXE)

however when im connecting to the online mode it takes like years... and finally i get the error "an error has occured"


whats the reason?

Has it not occured to you that Konami may have a exe verification system in place to stop counterfeit games getting online? The same way as countless other games on the market have them.

I play with a No CD .exe file even though I actually own the game and I can still play online and send/recieve messges.
I'm too lazy to reach for my disc everytime I want to play the game. :tongue:

Yeah.

Dont worry, u are not alone. Infact, I would wager a guess u are actually in the majority judging by how empty Konami's PC servers are.

I get the same problem....if u want to play then opt to play a Quick Match....

but to be honest, online ProEv is just not worth the hassle......maybe knowing how strong FIFA has become Konami might actually try to fox it this year.....but probably not....

The best that we can do is send them hate mail......(or get a refund on game.....I done this last year but onlien aside, this years game is very good).

Ihave same prob, have the original game, , and can not join a room on network, or on legends mode, but i can join a quik 2v2, or a auto legends game,

crazy stuff.

yet another unfinished product giving to us.

we should sue, i would sue FORD if my new car was not complete.
