Fifa 10 demo was outstanding. I havent played fifa since road to world cup last century. But I appreciate their efforts in recent years. This latest installent is next gen. Completely. Its awesome. I owe Konami nothing. This year im deflecting. Bcos FIFA is not marginally better but vastly superior in almost every aspect. PES looks Good up close.... so what???
This year its a no contest.

I can see your overall points mate, but some mentioned here are already in the game. For example: diving is, time wasting near opposition flags, shirt pulling and mistakes by A.I are to an extent in the game and have been since last year.
your right though, even though things are shaping up well IMO this year, Konami might have done a bit more. But this could be said of any company bringing out games. There will always appear to be something missing, or possibly wrong.
What many people i think don't grasp is that there is no such thing as a perfect game, let alone a perfect footy game. To try and please everyone and get everything spot on, especially in trying to recreate the beautiful game, must be unbelievably hard! sorry to drag.

I don't believe that:
handballs -accidental or on purpose
general mistakes,back passes,
defenders blocking forwards to let the ball roll out
diving
shirt pulling
defenders passing the ball across the back line
last minute time wasting on corner flags
will change anything! I just think you need to play other games and give PES a rest for abit! overplaying any game will make it get abit boring!

I cant believe this!!! I am Fifa fan since 1995. year ( its 14 years ) and for the first time i will not buy Fifa specially not that crap of Fifa 10. I think that PES 10 is a real refreshment. Yes there is a lot of things that yuo Konami guys must do in PES but its still way better that Fifa 10.
Now I am PES fan and I know that is the best way.

Mate go on Fifa forum and say that, you will see what will they say to you. They are angry on EA!!! Every Fifa fan is so disappoiting that i really believe that PES this year will have a record sale!!! Fifa is far away from next-gen
What Fifa forums do you go to, because on the official EA fifa forum, there are only positive comments regarding the new fifa, and people doing all they can to get it early due to the fact they cant wait. Please post the links of the fifa forums with all the dissapointing posts.

For the last time, the PC version of FIFA 10 is not a true reflection of what FIFA 10 is. Until EA start putting some effort in with the PC version they might as well not bring it out.
EA are scum like that, ignoring the most powerful platform because they don't feel the profit they make from it is enough.

Yes mate, PC version of Fifa 10 is crap. PES is way better on PC then Fifa but Fifa wins on PS3 and X-box
I dont visit the PC fifa forum as i play on the PS3 but by all accounts the PC version is completly different to that of the next gen and i would advise anyone who is to play their football simulation on the PC to buy PES 2010 as it is a far better simulation than the Fifa 10 PC counterpart from what i read.
Don't you mean what's the point of buying a game on a console given that they can't handle what PCs can? What a ridiculous post.

One of only ways forward for pes is to scrap the yearly bollocks.
Release one base game, say PES7, then roll out constant updates, kits, patches, for it to keep it fresh.
This will give them time to fully revolutionise aspect of gameplay which they can release when they are ready in the new base game.
Which would be called pes8.
They could make a fortune selling these updates, both online and even in shops.
But will Konami listen???

I agree, i love the PC for gaming but i tend to use it for more strategy based games now, such as Football manager and Civilazation, this is for me where the PC stands head and shoulders above the consoles. EA are a disgrace the way they have abandoned Fifa on the PC, if they're not bothered in making it next gen for the PC they might as well just abandon it altogether.
Have you played the winning elven demo tech? it's substantially beter than the pes demo.

I cannot be arsed with demos this year, straight up, i dont care, its hell enough trying to play football games with mrs tech hounding my ass, if i get xbox live, i might as well be single again cos she aint gonna be happy.
Beside It would only serve to fuel the talk about codes, which i think is absolutley disgraceful and very misleading, some of the pes websites really need to be ashamed for some of the garbage they pass for journalism.
fuck that, fuck the morons on here talking shit, its simple. On release day, if i still have a pulse, ill probably be in the game store at 9am to get the game,
In all honesty, if i tried hard enough, i could probably get on a train and get fifa10 2mrw, and get pes a few days before release too, but i cant be arsed.
It'd never work people would just complain that they are being charged for the same game with updated kits and transfers, also Konami is a business, they're there to make money and releasing the games every year allows them to do this. For me they just need to work really hard for next year to get the gameplay right, once that is sorted, then they can just fine tune it every year and add slight additions to the game. Thats why on the PS2 Konami was always ahead of Fifa because they had the gameplay and just fine tuned it every year, whilst EA were constantly playing catch up and trying to iron out bugs and gameplay flaws. The best thing that happened to EA was the next gen console it made both EA and Konami start from scratch and on a level playing field, thats why in many players eyes Fifa went from suddenly being a poor game on the PS2 compared to PES to being the better of the two games.

Handle what? games run just as good on consoles then on a PC! I only use PC's to work on and surf the internet! plus u install afew games and it runs like shit! lol thou don't want to start a console vs PC row! just my personal preference!
