Im on ps3. i was always wondering what these option file can do to the game? Does a option file improve the gameplay by removing bugs or it just renames the clubs with original names, player name correction, etc?? Secondly, do my online friend also need to have the same option file loke mine so as to play online?

It shouldn't change game play. Some people believe it makes online play a little laggy but I don't necessarily believe that. You don't need the same OF as your friend to play him online. In fact, when you play him you are seeing your OF uniform changes and he only sees his OF uniform changes (if either of you made any at all). Lastly, you are both playing with Konami rosters online, not any of your modifications.
