Option Files vs Download Content Updates (DLC)

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice.

The first thing I would like clearing up is the exact effects of downloading a new DLC on an option file.

What exactly will it effect?

-Registration of players?
-Changed player names?
-Changed player stats?
-Changed team names?
-All or none of the above?

The second thing, presuming that new DLC does not completely reset a downloaded OF, which is the best one out there to withstand the changes? I.E. Which retains most of it's original bonuses?

I understand that there will be some negative effects but for example, is there an option file that doesn't re-register players to different teams at all? (thereby overcoming the problem of players getting moved to their default teams when downloading an update.)

I know that's quite alot to ask, but I'm sure lots of people would find the answers very useful :)

Thanks Sniper, that does help.

So I suppose the next thing is to ask is it only the registration of players that is reset?

And if it is, which Option File has all the updated teams etc without re-registering any players?
