As suggested, we should have a thread similar to the XBOX Live Matches Discussions Thread, so I've now created this thread so we can all view, discuss and plan matches played on PC PES4 Online.
I (elgen) recently challenged Zygalski as my very first PC PES4 match (both online and general). He took Newcastle (home) while I took Inter Milan. A clear difference between the teams, yes, but Zygalski didn't go out there with ease...
From the kick-off to the end of 1st half, Zyg dominated the pitch, playing from left to right. He hammered several shots to my goal, but some were badly executed and some shots hit my defenders. Zyg hit the boost once, which were cleared by my defender. Still 0-0.
My defence was badly organized and I didn't have much control over my men the 1st half, so all I did concentrate on, was to play rough and defending to avoid any goals against me. Midway of the 1st half, I somehow manage to find an open space for Recoba and his under pressure sprinting towards the goal with the ball, Given comes out and I easily chip the ball, but it hits the boost!
That was the only chance I got to score on 1st half. Time is reaching 45mins when Zyg is attacking perfectly. My defenders try to follow up with him, but fails, he gives the ball to Shearer(?) who's in the line of the 18yard box and BOOM! He hammers the ball to the top right corner! 1-0 to Zyg in Stoppage Time.
Whistle blows for the end of 1st half. A _solid_ 1st half by Zygalski, who should've lead by 2-3 goals considering his major pressure and executes, especially the one that hit the boost... I had some serious problems dealing with Zyg's attackers, but somehow I managed to survive.
None of us did any changes. 2nd half kicks off. 1-0 to Zygalski.
I am not sure what happened to Zyg, but right after the kick-off, I pounded him with a solid attack by combining passes (through and 1-2's) that gave me the chance to score, and so I did by coming from the left and passing to Recoba who's inside the 18yard box and hammers the ball to the top right corner! 1-1.
After some back and forth from both sides, I saw some open spaces yet again, but as soon as I exploited them, I was taken by the defenders. Bad use of the advantages by me. About halfway on the 2nd half, I attack again with some passing and faints to come to the box with high speed. I see that Zyg's defenders are running like crazy to tackle me, and when I got TOO close the line for a goalkick, I turned my player and sadly for Zyg, he tackled me inside the box! Penalty to me! Vieri bangs it to the top left corner while Given went to the right. 1-2 to me and my Inter.
After the kick-off, it was pretty much solid defending and an attacking mad Zyg who did everything else but scoring. I myself tried producing by explointing the small holes, but Zyg's defence was solid.
2nd half ends. A 1-2 victory for me and my Inter over Zygalski and his Newcastle.
A good 1st PC match by me.
