People who always host

Ok we have a black list for quiters. I think its about time we mentioned the fact that there are some people who only ever host and not have hosted games.
Because of the current situation of lag, its meant that hosts have a big advantage when playing a match.

I've always tried to play 2 matches against a person just so that we both can host a game.

Can we name and shame the guys that only ever play when hosting.

the only solution to the problem would for people with googd connections should put thier gamertag up and host games as if the host has good connection 1mb plus seems okay for both players

After you play someone who has hosted, exit the match and then invite them to play when you're host. If they refuse a lot, then make a list of these people. People who host some games aren't inherently evil.

As mentioned before, stick to playing forum members and you will have less worries.

I played Dannyboy 1st with him hosting and it was a really tight game, he scraped an extra time goal. There was only slight lag btw. So I though I'd host and do him over.....lost 4-0 (i think) as host :(.

This basically means that I'll happily play a host :)

I always play home(host)/away(client) games....in fact If I play someone as a client I always ask them to play me as host regardless of lag...I think it is only fair...until this so called patch is out...anyone up for a game???

hitman, have you tried turning the crowd and stadium effects off in offline mode? Might do something.

Hitman, it could be your upload though....dont worry bout the 3mb bit, cos that is only your download speed. Your upload could be playing up now and again, hence causing lag. I have had a few games when my upload has been really bad, and its been hell for the client, but when its been nearer 200kbs, the clients have found it not too bad. This really does play a part. I mean you can have 4 5 or 6mb connections, but when yuo are hosting and the upload part is bad, then it WILL lag.
