PES 2008 on PC or 360 or PS3

Okay guys - I have PES 2008 on the 360 and PS3 at the moment and will probably be returning the PS3 version as framerate drives me nuts.

But my question is, is it worth me buying PES2008 for my PC.???
I want to be able to download patches updates etc and wondering if this easiest way to do this is go for the PC version of the game.

I have never owned a game for my PC so if I do go this route I am wondering what other stuff I need to buy, I assume I cannot just run a game on my PC, do I nead graphics cards etc etc. I have no idea about this stuff and would only go this route if its worth it?

Comments appreciated please.

Well Ive got it for PS3 but you can seem to change a lot more on the PC version by the looks of all the files for it on here.

lol, cant talk bout downloading games

I played both PS3 and PC version, and in my own opnion, I prefer the PC version by far for multiple reasons. One of them is obviously the possiblilties of patching, which makes the game that bit more enjoyable.
As for specs...I think there is a thread already that has guidence to whether your system would be good enough for PES2008...you can always check wikipedia for minimum/recommended requirements.
