PES 2009 Error

Hi, when i try to install PES 2009 i got the message The system administrator has set policies to prevent this instalation,
Did not worked: Run as admin, removed 2gb ram, run in safe mode ,...
I have Athlon 6400+,Asus 3870/512 , Asus M3A32 MVP Deluxe , 2*2gb Geil Black Dragon@800Mhz.. Win XP SP2 x64

Assuming you're on your home computer, you have the admin account AND, as you've stated, you clicked on Run as Administrator, I think you've got a problem :huh:

Can you install all other games/programs?

I have already installed Adobe CS3, Crysis, Call of Duty 4 , Test Drive Unlimited, PES 2008.....

U are running XP64 and I posted a step by step fix for your troubles on this forum. I asked for it to be a sticky but the right honourable admin above decided my altruistic post was not worthy of being made a sticky for a couple of weeks. Therefore instead of coming on here and finding out what u need to know right away, u have spent an evening bashing ur head of a wall.

Just search for all posts made by MatTheCat in my profile......u will soon find what u need.

2.go to your c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\temp\{random numbers and letters}\ (make sure you select the right folder, it will be the latest date and timed folder)

3.you should see the pro evo .msi file,copy that somewhere else along with ALL the INI files except the _instmel.ini (or the one thats called summit like that)

4. rename the setup.ini to something else. e.g cuntface.ini

5.close the error message

6.then run the .msi file from wherever your copying it to

7.should run ok.

Probably u are not doing it properly.....

First..locate ur temporary folder

i.e. c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\temp\

Leave this window open. Now run the PESDEMO2009.exe.

U will notice a new (RANDOM LETTERS N NUMBERS) Folder appear at foot of ur temporary folder u have displayed on ur monitor.

Look in this new folder and copy ALL files EXCEPT the file named insdmel (or summit) to another folder. (we will call it PESXP64)

Then go to PESXP64 folder and rename the #Setup# file. (i.e. anything.ini).

Then run the MSI (PESDEMO2009) from the new foler (PESXP64).

THE DEMO WILL WORK ON XP64.

Still dont work..Today i have installed again WIN XP x64..and i have same problem : the system admin has set the policies to prevent this installation

bought the game friday ,installed fine ,at random points it says a problem and needs to shut down , wtf help me ,tryed it with vista home basic and xp too same prob,this stinks
