i have always wondered what the point is with the piggyback guide, discovering the game for yourself is more enjoyable than reading how to play it.
Especially when the book dont even tell u how to play it.
For example, I haven't read about the fact that generally, a double tap of the shoot button ensures a lower more powerfully struck shot on goal. In the manual and even in the guide they are telling the kids press and hold for desired power, etc etc. But a quick glance thru any forum will ratify how many gamers are frustrated by the 'floaty' shooting. Their advice on crossing is just as bad/basic.....I wonder if they have even played the game prior to the guide being published. (probs not when u think about the time scales involved).
i haven't tried double tapping the shoot button that much but this is something i will use in future as like to use low shots(surprised they didn't mention this) especially with the precision shot as this could be effective. I personally find shooting much more of a challenge but i wouldn't describe it as floaty
Dont double tap with the R2 or RT 'precision shot'. Always double tap when u are wanting extra power and lower trajectory on basic shot.
I normally buy the guide but i was in two minds whether to buy it or the fallout 3 guide. Thanks for the up and also for making my mind up. Its going to be fallout 3 all the way.Made the mistake of buying it yet again....
Tells u fuck all u didnt already know and also omits lots of things that u do know. Honestly, a whole raft of new moves and control functions are completely overlooked.
Save ur dosh kiddies.
