Pes 2010 crashes!

Hi people, I've just installed Pes 2010, and installed the official 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 patch, and SoulMirror's patch(3.8). It worked fine at first, then suddenly the whole thing crashes and my computer shuts down immediately.

It crashed like everytime when i play a game, and it only crashes near the end of a game, round 70+ mins. I'm running it on Win 7 Ultimate.

My Specs:
Intel Core 2 duo processor P8700 (2.53GHz)
4 gig ram
NVIDIA Gefore G105M
32-bit


Anyone got any ideas, please help me!

Hi everybody!

I got the same problem as freakerfool. I did not install SoulMirror's (?) patch though.
It doesn't crash in every game, but sometimes near 70 minutes. Restarts the computer. I am using WIN7 ultimate 64 bit.
My specs are:

Intel Core i7 CPU 860
4 GB RAM
Nvidia 8800 GTS

I did not have this problem on my old computer (XP op system, AMD X2, 2 Gb RAM)

Please, anybody, help...

^It sounds to me it could be a overheating problem. Check if your computer gets too hot when you're playing the game.

Ive got a crash happening after the final group game of the World Cup - Ref blows his whistle and then it just crashes to windows.

Is there anyway i can skip this game as there is no option to rest when on International duty!

Really annoyed as im just finishin my first season on the game and have just svored 2 on my debut for England and have also just signed for Real Madrid from Sampdoria.

Help PLEASE!!!!!

Hey Davva, i think it's not our computer's specs. it's win7. my friends who did the same and played PES 2010 on Vista were fine...Guess we have to wait till there is a proper patch for win7!

I also have the same problem with sudden crashes/freezes - in BAL mode. Happens after 35 mins / 70 mins in a normal season game (different seasons).

My specs:

PES: 2010 with patch 1.01 & 1.02
+ PESEdit.com 2010 Patch 1.1 & 1.11
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
CPU: Intel Quad 6600 @ 2.93 GHz
RAM: 4GB
GPU: Radeon HD4890 w/latest drivers

- No heating issues
- IT WORKED fine when uninstalling my Avira Antivirus. However, it froze again after I installed NOD32 antivirus 64bit edition.

All PES2010 software described above worked with no problems on my older computer with Nvidia card installed.

Looked at the problem some more. Not an antivirus issue after all, I think.

It looks like a memory leak to me (not that I'm a computer expert by any means). Sometimes it crashes early in a game, sometimes late. However, with v-sync on and at higher resolution it crashes sooner and more "violently" - ie. not only to the desktop, but the pc itself restarts.

Seems like the game just "eats up" all the memory when playing in Windows 7. Konami's problem then, I guess, but I know ATI sometimes update their drivers to fix known problems in games.
