Alright, here's the delio, I am (or maybe was) a big PES, but it has been letting my down for repeated years now, and I am pretty stubborn, but there is a limit.
From what I've heard so far, PES 2010 is going to have some changes here and there, maybe something new, something that was removed, all the usual fuss when the game is close to coming out, and I don't mean this as a critic to you people that review the games prior to their releases (or even after, as a matter of fact), but it just seems you guys keep saying every single time: ''Oh my god, this is a huge step from the last one'', when it hasn't been changing much, at all!
Now, listen, I'd keep wasting my money on PES, but turns out this thing called competition exists, and right now, it's kicking Konami's little tush.
Fifa (although I have been quite stubborn to admit till some months back), has surpassed PES in quality content by so far! Even gameplay has gotten so much better!
Now, I just watched the Press Conference from Gamescon with Steve Rutter (Is that his name?), (http://fifa.easports.com/media.action#mediaId=lodDd0OsS0gBALoQQPPYqomGwEOTK45z) and omg, I just dropped my chin so bad, all the orthos in the country came rushing in to get it fixed.
Where do I start??
Is it the ability to put your face on your player THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE?!?. Come on Konami... are you taking notes??
Is it how you can unlock various ammounts of stuff for your Pro??
Is it the advanced and much much better online gameplay?? Is it the ability to play with people outside of the country where I bought my game at?!
I could go on forever, but all I wanted to ask you guys was something relatively simple:
From what you've heard and seen so far, which game do you plan on buying?
I don't want you to say you're buying both, even if you are. I want you to tell me your first choice.
Now let's just hope for the best, I don't wish Konami to fail, I just want them to go back to their glory days.
Better yet, they need to fierce up their competition and sharpen their claws, so that way, us fans can get a better game from both of them.
Cheers.
