I don't get the issue in this thread anyway: the review, regardless of its content, is not from a games magazine. I'm not going to take, for example, advice on what game to buy from the one-page section of game reviews in FHM am I? I mean they're hardly in-depth. This review is clearly a step up from that but it isn't from a games magazine. There's a split of people here: those who want to play both full games themselves to decide and those who want reviews from games magazines. That's it, surely?

PES 2010 could be another let-down or it could be a big step forward. This review isn't promising but a couple of games magazines with play tests are a lot less harsh on the game. Once again, you cannot conclude anything definitively.

To that end, I think this thread has had its life.
