PES 5 problems

I've just got my copy of PES 5 for the PC and when i put the CD into my laptop the autorun works fine and the game fully installs. However when i then click on the play button nothing happens and the game won't load, it almost seems to be that the CD just doesn't want to start spinning. I have all the recommened system requirements and can play higher spec games (ie Half life 2 etc) so i don't understand the problem. Stranger still is that the game works fine on my girlfriends laptop which has much lower spec than mine so if anyone can help me then please do, i'm desperate to play!!!

I have the same problem, and trying to find a solution is proving fruitless so far, only thing I see even as a remote problem is that my GFX card is not listed as a supported chipset(I have a 7800GTX), although I would hope that should not be a great problem. Even the Settings prog will not load.

AMD 64 3700+, NF4 SLI-DR, 1.5 Gig Ram, Geforce 7800GTX
