First of all, i want to thank HMTR for making available this OPT file. I'm now reading John Foot's Calcio - the history of italian football (a bad book, but still good for newbies like me) and this file really came in the best of times.
The problem is that, as it is, the file is full of historical errors (mainly the kits: per instance, the kit of Atalanta 66/67 is the one from Ajax). So, I spent some hours working in the file, editing the kits. For you guys have an idea, I've update almost all sides from "Best of 60's" and "Best of 70's".: Fiorentina, Juventus, Inter, Vicenza, Atalanta, Avellino, Lazio, etc, etc. In some teams I needed to do justjust a few corrections, on others I had to make new kits.
This is still a work in progress, and I'm going to update the file when I have the time and when I discover more errors. All credits go the original makers of this wonderful opt, and to HMTR to bringing it back to life again.

thanks for give an feedback on my simple work and i want to say to you i´m proud to bring back this option file because i really love Serie A ( and i´m portuguese from Lisbon) and i only play pes6 in ps2 or pc because this option file. I´m working to develop more this option file create more teams and renew the faces, kits, logos.
I believe more people can be envolved in this renewal o.f because the original idea from the user tempiosommerso from halifax forum was the best idea in years because legend teams and players are the only way to play old versions of pes and enjoy!!!

woww ! you are portuguese ? me too, and i'm from lisbon too. happy to meet you, it's a small world, for real.
I really like your work. I compared the original Serie A History file with yours and I noticed that you've made a lot of new teams, it's clear you worked hard as hell in the option file. I just did some minor tweaks in it: per instance, in the 60's and 70's teams, I noticed the kits had the players names in the backs, and historicaly, that's incorrect. I redo some milan kits (60's, 70's and one from the 90's), the juventus 2005-06 one (Juventus my favourite team ;)). My nightmare was the fiorentina teams from 60 and 70 decades. There is a lack of good photos from those teams. I've collected some good pics, if you want them, just let me know.
Also here is a site with a lot of info on the history of calcio, it has a lot of panini figurini of the scudetto winners from the seventies decade. LINK

And i agree with you, legends files are the best to play with a legend football game like Pes. I've also made a further slightly tuned version of your option file. The emblem of inter 97/98 was modify because first i post a link to do the o.f. that probably you downloaded and after that i change some things in option file like the emblem of verona and reggiana, its better you downloaded again. i´m thinking in 2 weeks made an update with your help in 60´s and 70´s kitsand some more things.

I've update my file to be more like your, at least the emblems. However, on your file there are some errors. The 2002/03 Juventus emblem is still the old one, not the one they use today, the emblem from Fiorentina 60's and 70's isn't included in the file, so I used the one they use today. Also, for Roma 79/80 I think the most apropriate emblem is the "white lupo" one (LINK), but for 60's the "old" one is the best in my opinion. I've some doubts about the new veronna emblem, but the new torino one is awesome!!! Also, there is a Juventus 1985-90, which, of course, is Juventus 86-87. Just some minor tweaks...
Anyway, here is my file. I've also updated Gigi Meroni stats and appearance, Platini appearance, and Laudrup stats (all based in the Lennon's classic opt for Pes 6, available in this forum). Here is the link for the file: LINK
