over the past couple of weeks I have been playing different football games ranging from fifa98 to sensible soccer and pes 2010.
Through out these couple of weeks I have managed to create a list of gameplay aspects of pes2010 that would need to be severely refined or reworked for pes 2011:

-Ball physics- The ball needs to bounce more often when running with the ball as at the moment the ball moves about like it is attracted to the floor. If you don't understand what I mean next time you play pes2010 look carefully at the ball when you are running as you will see that the ball is always on the floor.

-shooting sensitivity- currently when you shoot from anywhere on the pitch inside the opponents half, regardless of how much power you put in, the ball always seems to go on target, it should be changed so that it should blaze wide or go over the cross bar more often like pes 3,4,5

-game speed- The ideal speed should be alot slower like pes4 speed, personally I find that the speed of the pes 2010 demo was nearly perfect but it needs to be a tad slower. Also i have recently noticed that gameplay speed changes in every stadium you play in and this absolutely baffles me... why can't you just keep one speed.

-passing- At the moment when you pass the ball goes in a perfect line to the other player and the ball moves very quickly... this should be tweaked so that the passes can curve or players can miss-kick it if the pass is miss-timed, Also when you pass the ball always goes to the nearest player regardless of which direction you hit in... I believe that they should implement sensitive passing meaning tap the pass button to pass quickly and hold it for a long pass.

-Animations- The current player animations are too fast, robotic and clunky and it makes the game feel fast and unrealistic. The collision system is a bit shambolic and there is a need to raise the polygon and triangle count to remove ghosting(see through players) why cant they put 15k polygon count and 600k triangles??? and the animations need a complete new overhaul that would look realistic and it feels more organic.

-Tackling- Block tackles should look more realistic as currently the player just stands in the way and somehow gets possession of the ball. The slide tackles should also look more realistic as the player only slide tackles after the opposition player begins to run away with the ball so you end up with slide tackling the back of the legs and getting a red card.

AI- The current AI is very weak and it is probably the most worse AI I have ever come across, The AI needs to push more forward and try to tackle more often and shoot more often

Goalkeepers- The current goalkeepers rarely hold the ball when someone shoots the ball straight at them and they always fumble the ball. The goalkeepers should hold the ball more and they should go for the player in one on one's and not standing there

About the ball's bouncing see Winning Eleven 9 where it's almost perfect or FIFA 08-10.Also the animations need a drastically improve.Goalkeepers should be a top priority for PES 2011 because they are too dumb in PES 2010.
