if you have a new slimline PS2, it just needs an ethernet cable into your modem/router.
If you have an old fat PS2 like me, you need a network adapter plugged into the back of the PS2


Then plug into router/modem.
you can get the adapter from play.com or ebay, it comes with a disk to set up the connection.

i have the old ps2 and i have the networkadpter but i dont have the disk

ok, when you get the pes disk, put it in, goto network/online. when it asks whick config to use, select new/create (can't remember exactly) try to set up auto detect.

this will go to network setup (same as from network adapter Disk.) if auto doesn't work, try manual setup, input isp etc etc. test the connection.

once that works save to mem card. come out of network setup, goto play the game online, select saved network config and voila!!
