I have yet to try this out, so i could not give my own personal opnions yet, but here's the author's comments:

This is a Championship Patch made by robablade and PALACE1 for Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

20 Championship teams that are in the Patch

-Barnsley
-Bristol City
-Burnley
-Cardiff City
-Charlton Athletic
-Colchester United
-Coventry City
-Crystal Palace
-Hull City
-Ipswich Town
-Leicester City
-Plymouth Argyle
-Scunthorpe
-Sheffield United
-Sheffield Wednesday
-Southampton
-Stoke City
-Watford
-West Brom
-Wolves

WHATS NEW

-All England League Logos, Badges, Kits
-All Championship Logos, Badges, Kits
-All player names, stadiums, competitions renamed
-All transfers done
-All menu logos corrected
-All Championship players, lineups, stats and appearances done
-French league moved to Other Leagues C and Lyon and Marseille added in Other League B
-Championship written over the French ligue 1

NOTE - This is only a small release as there is no kits in there and wont be done for a while. so there will be a full release when all the kits are done.

I dont quite understand what they mean by saying:
-All championship Logos, Badges and Kits

and then saying "This is only a small release as there is no kits in there and wont be done for a while."


I think they mean only the prem kits are done, not the championship.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

Just checked out the files in GGS, there are currently no kits availible in this patch, they have only offered emblems for every team and nation (except the Classic Sides) created in an attractive vista user styled icon. I also couldnt find the PES and WE United emblems, so i think they replaced those teams aswell.
Every team, leagues, stadiums, etc are renamed with the latest transfer and loan deals updated.


*Note, you will not be able to use the French Ligue 1 Sides for Master League after installing this patch due to the authors relocating them to the vacant 'League C' slots to make way for Championship sides.

Thanks for the link, does anyone know the size you need to modify the Emblems to ? read me just states 'you need to resize it' but does not specify to how much.

normally in afs_explorer, once you attempt to import a file but fail, the amount of space reserved should be automatically altered for you after pressing the modify space button (hammer with rainbow coloured backgound icon). You may need to rebuild the .img during this process though.
