Just thought i'd make this thread.

PES2009, for me, seems promising. Some will agree, some may not. Konami have seemed to "get their act together". What i mean by this they have added new little things, that may ultimatley make a big difference. A Few examples to surport this are the following:

The new passing system:
This sounds promising, sort of like the manual passing but is performed by holding X or A.

The new weather system:
I hope this turns out to be true. For example, when playing a game and its pouring rain, the players' sliding tackles distance extends, passing is more harder. passes skid of the surface, goalkeepers sometimes make mistakes handling the ball. Would be a little improvement that would go a long way.

More Stadiums:
Glad that KONAMI have put in more stadiums and maybe added a few more, with the exeption of Wembely of course :) which by the way looks amazing. Hopefully, more stadiums such as The Emirates Stadium, Azteca, Anfield, Old Trafford may be included which KONAMI have not let anyone know about. Just have to wait and see.

Licence teams:
It's good too hear that teams like Liverpool & Manchester United have been licensed, i mean no offence to teams like Tottenham, Newcastle and teams like that but many of you PES fans would like to play PES as big teams being licensed rather than the soo called little teams.

Edit Mode:
From what i've heard & seen its good too see Edit Mode "back to the way it was". I used to love spending certain amounts of hours editing kits, creating badges. Now from what i've heard the ability to import photo's to PES is still there, but in some ways is much easier, because you no longer have to have an eye-toy or LIve camera or what-ever. Simply put the image you want to have for you team on a digital camera, load up PES import it to your team and have a edited kit that looks licensed, brilliant right?. Now the addition i love which i can't wait to try out is the "Chant Import". If it turns out to be easy to use i'd love to play as West Ham vs Chelsea and have the chant "Stick the Blue flag up your arse going off"

So to sum up, i'm looking forward to PES this year, maybe KONAMI have been listening to us. Can PES2009 get back to where it used to dominate FIFA?. I think so, we will just have to wait and see.

What do you think?

Have your say and vote on the poll!

Everyone who have played it, like me can confirm it plays like before. But to be honest i don't want the "before-versions". One thing i really like and didn't really feel in the Leipzig demo was the manual passing system. I hope they improve it, cause that's what i really want + the keepers should be very good. I don't want 5-4 scores. On top players the keepers were very good, i hope they keep it that way.

There is nothing better than on a cold winters evening/night than snuggling up and playing pro evo. With PES 3,4,5 and 6 i only sold it when the next 1 came out. With 2008 it was gone by january. I was gutted. Its the only game i can play for ages all the time. It gives so much fun by allowing you to play football with m8s on and offline and Signing legends that are kitted out to the teeth with 99s is what makes pes the best game of all time for me. Above GTA and COD.

There is no other game that allows you to have that bondage with your team and really feel involved in what your doing other than PES.
