Let me just start with saying that I am generally delighted with this years version of Pro Evolution Soccer. I love the new animations and the graphics is top notch as usual. I am not saying it could not be better, but I always rate playability over visual candy anyway.
In Become a Legend mode I have noticed that AI team members have a fixation with through balls, they use it all the time, and to be honest that's kinda stupid. A through ball from a central defender to the central midfielder result in a direct pass to the opposition defense, especially since the midfielder it was aimed for is faced towards the passer and have no realistic way of trapping the pass. Passing should generally be directed at a man, and through balls is used where opportunities arise for a breakthrough. Especially easy to notice when team strategy is "Possession DEF".
I have also noticed that AI strikers struggle with simple finishes a bit too often, but they also manage to do the "fantastic" or "impossible" quite frequently regardless of skill level so in a realistic goal scoring view (numbers) i guess it evens out, but it would still be nice if it was fixed. More effective on big chances and less supergoals is what I mean, really.
Other than that I must say I am really impressed with PES2011, thank you KONAMI! After a few years of disappointement you really turned the curve around and kicked FIFA's ass thoroughly.
