PES3- Advice Required re: "Shooting Gauge"

G'day

On page 43 of the manual about 3/4's of the page down, headed "Shooting Gauge" it says:

"A mark behind the shooting gauge will indicate the optimum level for the gauge when taking corner kicks & free kicks"

I don't see this mark??? Do you?

I think there is a mark at the half-way point. Other than that this has never been mentioned so not sure.

Thanks for your prompt response.

Yes there is a mark at the halfway point but it's always there & doesn't appear "behind" the gauge as such. Am I missing something? Can this "Shooting Gauge" feature be turned "off & on" in one of the menus maybe?

You can turn off the guage and scanner, player names etc in one of the pause menus. But you still see the power bar as it rises.

Thanks again for your feedback.

Yep, know all about the above menu that allows one to toggle these features. I've searched high & low for this so called "Shooting Gauge". I was really hoping it would be a feature as I'd find it very useful.

Its just above the names of the players on the ball, usually it will disappear if you turn off these names.

I'm surprised this topic has never come-up as a query before? If you've got your PES3 manual handy check-out page 43 for yourselves. They have a pic of what you're meant to see but the bloody thing is too small to make anything of it!

I'm sure someone will reply with the definitive answer. I'm suspecting it will be something like "Konami forgot to put that feature in"!

lol i never knew that mark was of any important, i always thought it was just a graphic for decoration and it was just a co-incidence it was usefull for corners and free kicks

On the power gauge on free kicks though i find it is alot easier to go just past it to get the ball over the wall though, try it
