Recently i read about the "cheating" tool http://www.celeborn.co.uk/para-w8_changer.exe that allows you to choose the Wolf 3.1 squads instead of the original PES4 squads in onlinemode.
This is offcourse a nice idea if everybody is playing with the same squad-file, but not so nice when online matches will be like "the updated squads vs the standard not updated squads". :eek:
I think it´s kinda sad that these tools are made in online-mode, coz some will logically have more advantages than others now, by having better players in their squads.
And with the arrival of this new tool, we will maybe see some more sophisticated cheating tools sooner or later.... :confused:

I'm deeply offender about it being called a "cheating tool" and want to know where you heard it from.

Cheating: it has come about that players were updating their stats to 99 to play online and beating people easily because of it. THIS is the cheating that goes on online. pes4online has counter that by forcing everyone to use the exact same para_w8.bin (the file pes4 uses for online rosters). This is the only solution to stop cheating, and pes4online is the ONLY place and solution that stops cheaters online. As a "bonus", we updates the rosters a little to Wolf 3.1 - since that is the 1 legitimate users some people had for updating their rosters.

The tool was created to allow pes4online users to GO BACK to the default rosters, so ENCOURAGES fair play. Not cheating. Most people play in communities / forums etc.: so it is upto them to decide which rosters to use, but note, these players are FULL OF CHEATERS USING 99 STATS: this updated wolf 3.1 online roster is NOT a cheat. pes4online is the only place to play cheat free online: but I also understood that some people play games outside of it, this para_w8 program could take them back whenever they wanted.

Also note: all updated option files these days (such as wolf and pesfan) are coming with their own para_w8.bin. Does that make Wolf a cheater? or the Pesfan option file crew a cheater? No: the file is necessary in one place to have updated online rosters, and in another place to have updated players in the master league (which a LOT of people want). Again, the cheaters are the ones updating stats to obscene levels: NOT the ones who just want updated rosters.

Sophisitcated cheating tool? ANY PES4 DATA EDITOR IS A CHEATING TOOL. They are what let you change stats, they are what let you export files to be converted to a para_w8.bin. My program lets you choose between 2 legitimate, non "super statted" roster sets. Thats all. No super players, just players playing for the right team as of December 2004. Hey, over time, some teams get better, some teams get worse.

Want cheat free gaming? play on pes4online. Anywhere else is un-moderated and as such are a free area for cheats, of which would actually cheat properly with super stats.

It started out when I heard people talking about your tool, and calling it "a cheating tool".

But after I read your reply here, I realize the great purpose your tool serve. I´ll take back my words for sure, and hope that people calling it a "cheating tool" does too. I didn´t know that the cheating issue was so dramatic in PES4, its very sad to hear.
It´s great that someone like you is working against these cheaters, creating this anticheat-tool. Good work mate ;) .

hi celeborn.. i think yuo have done a geat job in prenventing cheating...

but i realized playing with wolf option file 3.1.. there are some flaws... in terms of player numbering.. in player numbering...for example...arsenal henry of arsenal wearing not 10 shirt instead of 14 , reyes wear 10 , not 9 and bergkamp 32 not 10...

it happens to other teams too.... real madrid..spain ... f. toress wearing no 7 raul no 23...etc etc...

of course u can edit but cannt use the edit no. in online mode...

so can you fix this numbering problem....when play online...cos i am hardcore pesfan and really want to play as real numbers

It still sucks bigtime that players online can have completely different squads.

It is cool with changes for single player games, but I wish it was not possible to make any changes in online mode. It really makes the game crappy when people can play against and have different squads on each screen.

Personally, I 100% agree - it was a stupid move by Konami to make this easily changable in the 1_10 patch - stick all data in the exe - everyone uses the same exe, and its easy to tell if someone has changed it.
