I'm managing Fenerbache on 6-star master League. Currently 5th in the first division that includes some tough sides like Real, Barca and Internazionale. Having said that, have just lost a scrappy game 2-1 to Besiktas. I'm aiming for 4th or 5th at the end of the season to qualify for the champions league. Out of the D1 cup in the first round, but I don't really care, as it is a mickey mouse competition. Highlight of the season so far was a 1-0 home win over the up-until-then unbeaten Barcelona.

I made up my own team the otha day and i chose two players, robert green and my own player who is 16, i didnt make the player 99 everythin he is about as good as minanda at the start but after the first season he had a few 90 ratings and his ability his well above the predicted, I got promoted first time came second in D2 with two games to go i was 5 points off of promotion but somehow i pulled it off scoring the scrapiest goal ever in the fianl minute of the final game, and i confess that i am sad, i actually celebrated when i scored becoz i knew that the three teams i needed to lose were all 1-0 down at half-time

I'm PES United in the Master League D2.
I've played eight league and two cup games and gone past the first negotiation weeks on the calender. I'm currently in Week 21.
My Team is as follows

In the cup I beat Winning Eleven 1-0 at home and then 3-0 away!..I think their tails went down.
My next match is against Sunderland today.. The previous week Sunderland were hammered 4-0 at home by Portsmouth.
I might face a stern side i dont think the black cats will want to lose heavily again this week
This is actually playing ML on 3*. I figured with the new options I'd wait to see how the game plays first. So I'm learning while playing. Also I've incorportated a strict budget to my team. I'm not allowed to negotiate for any player above 700 Points. Bianchi a new centre back i just signed is currently on 675 points for 5 seasons and Javier Mascherano is on 590 which is a steal as his stats are good. He's only 21!
If i can i'll be back again soon to edit this post on a regular basis.

Ordaz spurned two brilliant chances meaning we only gained a point. I really pressured Sunderland in this match and should have won. Bolton were beaten at home by West Ham and West Brom beat Portsmouth.
Mascherano played superb in midfield and Bianchi had an excellent game also. Every game i play i am getting better i just need to convert my chances.

Yes... well sort of My Higher league so to speak is similar with two team changes. Heres my setup. Apart from the newly promoted three teams in the current Premiership I had this setup on pes4 as well.

As you can see Bolton and Portsmouth have suffered relegation at the expense of Rangers and Celtic. In PES4 it was similar its just instead of using Wigan, Sunderland and West Ham it was Crystal Palace, Norwich and Southampton. I first start my ML on default ML players and have a strict budget allowance. I am not allowed to pay wages to any player that exceeds 700 points. I am also PES United as I like to see what the CPU AI does with Man Red. The reason i have set my ML up like this is so that when you play division games it feels like a domestic league game and when you play WEFA games it feels like champs league. Just to clear that up.

Theres a mistake in my earlier post. as you might tell from my short league table. The ML game against Sunderland was fixture 9 not fixture 8.

Fixture 11 was fantastic Mascherano got a 7.5 as he setup a goal and scored from outside the area! This was my most impressive display yet. Ordaz also got back to goalscoring ways!
The second leg of the semi final at the Reebok!.. well stamford bridge.. :unsure: .. I got the result i needed.. 1-1 with Bolton meaning i'm through to the final on aggregate with a 2-1 victory. Mascherano controlled the midfield and scored our goal. He's my team captain with a teamwork rating of 83. He's only 21!
Fixture 12 PES United 4-0 Portsmouth
A devastating display. Four different scorers my team have built up the confidence and crushed lowly Pompy. With this victory we become D2 Champions and secure promotion to the upper division.
Huylens, Ordaz(8), Minanda and Mascherano all scored.
So with 2 games left my team secure promotion and the championship.

this is a we9 storie but it was amazing none the less...
okay i was in division 2 with a created team. i was bottom i did'nt think id go up that season...until i bought...*///ALLBACK\\\*. i started an amazing comeback after the mid season transfer break. i was winning all matches, allback was banging home goal after goal, until it came down to the second to last game of the season. if i won i would go up to div1 next season, if i lost however i would need a miracle on the last game to go up. it ended up a 4-1 loss in my second to last match.
so it went to the last game of the season i needed to win and my three rivals who were also in the running for second place needed poor results, 1 team needed to lose the others needed a draw.
the last game started and bam i was 1-0 down from the get go, then the team i was playing started getting very defencive, i could'nt get through their defence no matter what, it was a real struggle. but then suddenly smicer comes charging up the wing, places an amazingly accurate low cross into the danger area and who came charging in to bang home the equaliser??? none other than allback. but i was'nt outta the woods yet, and bare in mind this could of all been for nothing anyway, if the com teams had a win.
i kept attacking and attacking but i could'nt break the defence, so i took off smicer as his stamina was running low and brought on gonzales (river plate) he was utter useless...until. i made a dazzling run into the opponents half with my left back, placed a through ball to allback, who then broke clear of his marker...then just as i thought i had a clean shot on goal, another defender charged towards me, now i had a choice. shoot and hope the defender misses the block, or play it down to the left hoping someone will charge in. i decided on the later, and amazingly the most useless player on the pitch gonzales charged forward controled the ball and banged home the winning goal with ten mins left. i was well pleased, i managed to hang on to the win and now it was just a case of hoping the other teams lost. i knew they did lose as i saw the players prancing around all happy-like.
and that was my best moment (possibally ever!) on we9/pes5. by the way it was much better than it sounds.

BTW In case any one was wondering
I downloaded Pesfan option file to MC. I wanted to start the season with full kits and stuff. I chose the file where theres max points but nothing unlocked as with my ML this year i didnt want classic players being available. I'm creating a seperate option file on a different MC for my enjoyment of Classic players in my WFL.
:angry: ..Although it is rather stupid you have to go to these lengths. Konami could have just put an extra option in ML setup screen to disable the purchasing of classic players... oh well the game still kicks ass!

you have to be carful with maxdrive, i've messed up two mem cards by downloading files. i have a new one now, and use the broke ones as data transfer cards. bassically i put the file on the bust mem card load the file up on pes5, switch memory cards then save it on the good mem card.
the problem is the bust mem cards dont save or load (unless forced in the options menu) if i knew how to format the card maybe it would work again. be carful otherwise you'll have to buy a new card.

hmmmmm...if i would of known this i could of formated my mem cards instead of buying new ones. oh well ill try it later maybe they are broke, i hope so after spending 40 quid on two new mem cards.

I am not entirely sure if it was on the system config under ps2 setup or on the main screen on the max drive software. A memory card with corrupted data can be formatted.. and usually if done properly should work because by formatting your erasing everything the memory card previously held.
If The memory card is physically damaged... dropped in bleach or crushed in a vice .. thats when you buy a new one..hmy:
