It can't be lag. :no:
I've had players in the penalty area one second and in the centre circle the next second. Now that is what I call lag.
What I'm talking about is the general speed of the game when playing a match online. Passing and dribbling seems so much slower when playing online compared to playing a match in Match Mode.
I mean, am I the only one to notice this? :unsure:

It is slower. Possibly just because it has to process reactions from two players/locations instead of one.

I suppose that makes sense.
I just hope that this doesn't happen when playing PES7/8/9 on a PS3.
I play on the network for this reason only. I like the slower gameplay. I think it reflects reallity a bit better than the normal pace.

You must've really hated Winning Eleven 10 then.
I have never bought the japanese versions, but i hated pes 4. Pes 5 - online was good, but they all feel fast. I now play on a smaller t.v and that really makes a difference, making the gameplay just right.
