PES6 to debut at E3

Konami has announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will debut at E3 - the first time in the series' history it will have done so.

Creator Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka remains at the helm, and will be visiting E3 with the game to promote it. "This marks my first trip to E3 and I am greatly looking forward to this chance to expand the game’s amazing popularity to a wider, global level," he says.

Konami's keeping quiet for now about what's changed in PES6 - which is likely to appear on PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC and PSP - but has said to expect new moves, licensed clubs and gameplay modes, some of which will be unveiled during the show, which takes place between May 10th and 12th. A PlayStation 3 unveiling wouldn't be totally unbelievable either.

there must be something big happening with this game if they are going to E3 with it, I mean come on think about it? PES 6 can't offer anything more than PES 5 in terms of graphics or gameplay really, just minor alterations... I reckon there is a very high chance of the next gen version being shown. Otherwise why didn't they go to E3 with the previous versions?.....

You mention graphics cant get any better :shocking: well surely if it is released on the 360 it will be like a new game as the graphics are far superior to the old generation of consoles.

i dont think there will be any new news... PES6 will pretty much feature the same stuff from WE10... changes are subtle

that news seems more catered to Europeans who play PES...

i could be wrong....

i'd expect PES6 to come out early on PS2 anyway. WE10 is out so theres no reason to hold it back 'till october.

Wait Here, Gone for Help
But doest we10 only come out on ps2? Isnt it that they have to wait for we10 international. If that is the case the it will be the first time the next gen game will be shown and that will be amazing

Can't wait for next-gen pes, already getting my 360 warmed up!! :) the best part is that Microsoft are allowing all 360 owners with Xbox Live Gold to get clips, demos, and reviews on games that are at E3 via the Xbox Live Market Place.

One negative note though, EA (bastards) have got the licences for FIFA again, It will last untill 2014, so that is 8 more f**king shite FIFA games :realmad:
