Yes its not perfect and there are glitches, but the guy is amazing

he is so full of enthusiasm i love him

it sucks that jim beglin is still there as he is dull as paint drying, but peter drury is amazing, he makes the game so much more enjoyable

id be absolutly gutted if its a one time only deal and they have the old commentator back again from last year what was his name again?

anyway how do we ensure they keep drury do we send lots of emails to konami, or do we have no say over the matter

ps. as i write this i just scored and its so flipping amazing hearing drury scream COUTINIHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what a strike :laugh:

PS: Sadly though the thing about having limited number of commentary lines means that if you play long enough you start getting bored by them. So, I am happy that at least you're enjoying the commentary. For me though, it starts getting stale pretty soon after starting playing every year. Once I start seeing the faults I can't just unsee them. Then I have a good time switching to commentary languages I do not understand, they end up sounding hilarious sometimes. try it sometime.

He roars the players name for about 90% of the shots. Sounds good at first, but it gets tedious after a while when you play long enough. He does it too often and for some of the types of shots its way over the top and doesn't feel right. Jim Beglin also seems to struggle with some of the new scripts, like he hasn't learned them properly.

I did hear both of them discuss man cities previous match and up coming fixtures and who scored in the last match for them when I was playing them. I'd like to hear more of this contextual stuff. I use Arsenal and they haven't once discussed them after 9 games in. Maybe thats because there is no commentary name to assign them to.

Do they still pronounce the fake player names like they're reading it for the first time? I had to turn the commentary off because of this, when playing the Asian league in PES 2015. Was doing my head in.

Well in 2 days ive heard the hot like butter cut line or something like that, about 1 trillion times LOL!

And i love how he describes a backpass to the keeper as a `rasping drive from distance which rattled the crossbar`` :laugh:

PS you can change commentary language? how?

PPS 90 per cent of beglin`s lines are the same as last season, have you heard him pronounce balotelli? it sounds like budhadelli!

I've enjoyed Peter Drury's commentary so far, but when it gets repetitive for me, I'll shut it off. Like giving my own commentary on the matches anyway. :p
